We believe that Post 16 courses should be a preparation for your higher education course or career. During your interview for a place at Post 16 you will be asked about your future plans to ensure the course you are starting will fit with these aspirations.
During your course of study our careers consultant will advise you about applying for higher education, application forms, entry qualifications and career prospects. Post 16 tutors will assist in writing CVs.
If you would rather start your career after Post 16 then the careers consultant will provide advice, mock interviews and help with completion of application forms and CVs.
Towards the end of their final year, those who are interested in apply for University will embark on an intensive programme of university visits, on site lectures and dedicated training sessions regarding university applications and necessary course choice, funding, application procedures and advice on writing personal UCAS statements.
