GCSE Results 2012
Following the release of our GCSE results this morning, we have plenty of reason to celebrate: the proportion of students gaining 5 or more A*-C GCSEs is now 89% (55% including Maths and English).
These are our best ever results – eleven times higher than in 2003, when we first opened. We will keep pursuing improvement, aiming for an even higher result next year.
The rise has attracted the attention of not only the Education Secretary Michael Gove, but also the PM David Cameron, who have both noted our rapid acceleration in recent speeches (which can be read here and here).
Further, the Evening Standard has reported on the success of the Harris Federation as a whole: noting that we have ‘bucked’ the national downward trend in results. You can click here to read their article: Harris Federation bucks the trend .
