Oliver Twist- The Drama Department
Congratulations to all year 11 Performing Arts Students who completed their final performance Of ‘Oliver Twist ‘during half term.
Student inspired by anti- knife crime talks
Over the last couple of weeks the students have been visited by various organisations such as Parents United and The Greenwich and Lewisham theatre group,both of which promote an anti-knife crime message.

Year 9 History Trip to the British Museum and Yoruba cultural performance
Forty-seven students from Harris Peckham travelled to the British Museum to see and work on the Kingdom of Ife exhibition about medieval Nigeria.
Bewl Water Easter Revision Session
During the Easter break, 19 students from Year 11 elected to spend a couple of days from their Easter holidays at the Bewl Water Activity Centre in Kent.

EXCELLENT Music Exams Success!
The music department entered the Independent Contemporary Music Awards graded music exams. A very large number of students attained fantastic scores.
Year 8 students produce The Mummers Play
Before the Christmas break, a play was written by Mr. Timms’ year 8 English class; the play was called the Mummers’Play. The purpose of this was to raise as much money as possible for a charity of our choice, which we later decided would be Great Ormond Street Hospital.

BBC 2 Mastercraft
A group of Harris Academy at Peckham students were involved in a programme that will be broadcast on BBC2 at 9pm on 5th March.
