Bank of America Careers Talk

On Thursday 16th March Arantza Yagüe, a Treasury Specialist in Bank of America Merrill Lynch, a global financial institution, gave a talk to Year 10 pupils about her career to-date. She talked about the subjects she pursued at school in her native Spain and thanks to her love for Maths, studied Engineering at university. Arantza highlighted that being  passionate about a subject can ultimately open many doors and varied opportunities present themselves. This has has been the case in her lengthy career in banking. She then highlighted the incredible range of roles available in the banking world from Law and Marketing to Sales and Technology and many more. She concluded by emphasising that to succeed in any of these roles in today’s competitive world, students need to remain committed to their passion and constantly strive to study and work hard and then true success and happiness will occur.
