Jessica O'Regan

Ms O’Regan gained her BA in Law at Oxford University before training to teach Mathematics at the Institute of Education. She trained on the Graduate Teacher Programme (now called Schools Direct) whilst teaching at a comprehensive school in Feltham, and stayed there, becoming Head of Year, for the first six years of her career.

She then joined Harris Battersea as Lead Practitioner in Maths from 2016-2018, then moved to be Assistant Principal of a school in Lambeth for four years before returning to Harris in 2023 to become Vice Principal at HAP.  

Proudest moment in education: Our students showing the world how 'Outstanding' they are in our Ofsted inspection in March 2025. We proved to everyone that HAP students are aspirational, articulate and kind young people; they blew the Inspectors away. 

The thing I love about HAP: Every day I start at 07:50 by greeting our young people on the gate. They look smart, they ask how we are, they arrive ready to learn and they are my daily reminder that the future is bright.
