School Meals & Menu
Our menu has been created after extensive research into student preferences, but is also nutritious and compliant with all government guidelines.
Our catering service is provided by Innovate IFG, part of the Impact Food Group. Innovate is a well-established and experienced school caterer. The service is provided under contract with Harris Federation.

The menu aims to offer more of what students want, including good food that can be eaten on the go.

Free school meals
The Academy writes to all parent/carers whose children are entitled to free school meals. Even if your child does not wish to eat free school meals, but is entitled to them, it's worth applying because for each child entitled to free school meals the Academy could receive funding to help with tuition, resources, coaching and extra assistance. The meal value is £2.76.

Once we have received your application your details will be checked via the Eligibility Checking Service and you will be advised by letter whether or not your claim is successful. All matters regarding applications for Free School Meals are treated with discretion and in confidence.

Magical breakfasts at the start of each day
Every child needs to start the day with a magical breakfast. We serve free breakfasts to all students from 7.30 to 8.20am. Send your child in early to Harris Academy Peckham for the most important meal of the day!

- Cereals
This will ensure that your child is on time to the academy every day but more importantly, they are ready for learning, mentally and physically, which can only bring fulfilment to their day.
Allergies
If a student has any food allergies or intolerances, students must inform the academy Medical Lead and the Catering Manager, who can provide further information. Food allergen information is labelled in BOLD on all pre-packaged food. Allergen information on all other food products is available from the catering team on request.
