Teamwork and Success: Year 9 LEAP Day at Hyde Park

Teamwork and Success: Year 9 LEAP Day at Hyde Park

As part of recent LEAP Day, our Year 9 students visited Hyde Park in March to take part in a series of team-based challenges.

LEAP days are special days each year when we celebrate our LEAP values of Leadership, Enquiry, Aspiration and Perseverance.

Working in groups, students were tasked with navigating the park and completing a range of photo challenges at key landmarks, including statues, fountains and well-known locations. Each challenge required teamwork, organisation and communication, with students earning points based on their collective effort.

It was fantastic to see students fully engaged throughout the day. They demonstrated excellent teamwork, supported one another, and approached each challenge with enthusiasm and positivity. Many groups showed real initiative in how they organised themselves, ensuring everyone was involved and contributing.

Students represented the school brilliantly when out in the community. Their energy, cooperation and willingness to take part made the day a great success.

Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and a great opportunity for students to build confidence, strengthen friendships and develop important teamwork skills outside of the classroom.
