Year 11 Residential Trip: A Fantastic and Memorable Experience
Our Year 11 students recently returned from a highly successful residential trip, and it is safe to say the experience was an outstanding one from start to finish.
The trip provided a valuable opportunity to combine focused academic preparation with team‑building activities, all within a supportive and inspiring environment.

Throughout the residential, students took part in intensive revision sessions delivered by members of our Senior Leadership Team.
Working in small groups allowed targeted support, meaningful discussion and a real focus on building confidence ahead of upcoming examinations. Students demonstrated excellent commitment, maturity and determination during these sessions, making the most of every learning opportunity.

Beyond the classroom, the trip offered a range of outdoor adventure activities designed to boost morale, resilience and teamwork. These activities encouraged students to challenge themselves, support one another and build positive relationships in a fun and energising setting. The balance between academic focus and wellbeing was a key strength of the programme.

The group stayed at PGL Marchant’s Hill in Surrey, a stunning outdoor activity centre set across 45 acres of woodland and lakeside surroundings. The natural environment provided the perfect backdrop for both focused study and outdoor exploration, making the experience all the more memorable.

This residential was not only an enjoyable experience but also an important step in preparing our Year 11 students for the challenges ahead. Well done Year 11!
