Sports Day 2026: A Fantastic Day of Competition and Team Spirit

On 10th July 2026, Harris Academy Peckham came together to participate in a highly successful Sports Day, with students demonstrating excellent teamwork, determination and enthusiasm throughout the event.

Sports Day provided students with the opportunity to represent their tutor groups across a wide range of activities, including football, rounders, basketball, volleyball and athletics. The day was filled with friendly competition as students competed for valuable points while cheering on their classmates and encouraging one another to achieve their best.

Participation was a real highlight, with students embracing every challenge and showcasing the academy’s values through their positive attitudes, resilience and sportsmanship.

Sports Day was not only an opportunity to compete but also a chance for students to build confidence, strengthen friendships and celebrate being part of the Harris Academy Peckham community.

A huge thank you goes to the PE department and all staff who helped organise and run the event, ensuring it was both enjoyable and memorable for everyone involved.
