Linguist Club: Building Global Connections Through Penfriend Letters

Our HAP Linguist Club attendees were all smiles this month as they received letters from their international penfriends.

The penfriend exchange remains one of the most popular and enriching activities within the Linguist Club. By communicating with peers overseas, students get the opportunity to use language in real, meaningful contexts –  far beyond the classroom. This authentic practice not only strengthens their linguistic skills but also broadens their cultural understanding, encouraging curiosity and empathy.

At HAP, we are incredibly proud of the way our young linguists embrace these opportunities to connect globally. Through their engagement, enthusiasm and open‑mindedness, they are growing into true global citizens.
