Students Shine at MISST Together Day
Students from our school had the opportunity to take part in this year’s MISST Together Day – an inspiring celebration of musical collaboration organised by the Music in Secondary Schools Trust.
The event brought together young musicians from across the trust to experience the power of playing in a full orchestra, many for the first time.

Throughout the day, students immersed themselves in ensemble rehearsals, developing not only their musical skills but also teamwork, discipline, and confidence. Performing as part of a large orchestra offered them a chance to hear their instruments blend into a much bigger sound, creating a memorable and enriching musical experience.
A particular highlight came when two of our more experienced performers were invited to step forward for solo performances. Their confidence, skill, and stage presence were met with enthusiastic applause from peers and staff alike, showcasing the high level of talent within our school community.

Events like MISST Together Day play a vital role in broadening students’ horizons and nurturing a lifelong love of music. We are incredibly proud of all who took part and represented our school so brilliantly.
