Year 9 Virtual Learning Information
Welcome to the Year 9 virtual learning information page. As it stands, government advice is that schools should remain closed for Year 9 students so we will continue to use this page to share all information and resources.
Don't miss the 'How to Be Great at Virtual Learning' page!
In order to best support learners in Year 9, we have moved to a blended model where there are some live virtual lessons taking place on Microsoft Teams and some activities for students to do without live teacher support. Please see the timetable below. You will also find our celebration of student successes and rewards in our weekly Peckham Post newsletter.
The virtual timetable shows the mix of live lessons (highlighted in blue) and the other independent learning activities we expect you to do. We strongly recommend that, in addition to your curriculum learning, you follow the timetable to explore the wellbeing activities found here and to continue reading regularly. To stay healthy, you should aim to do exercise (e.g. PE with Joe) at least three times a week (if not every day!).
Click here for instructions how to join live lessons on MS Teams.
*These lessons have moved from the previous timetable.
Remember, developing your reading ability is a vital part of your education and overall wellbeing. Have you finished the Peckham 50 or HAP Reading Challenge? You can find about both on our Reading at Home page.
You can now join a Live Bedrock Webinar with Miss Alexander every Wednesday morning. You will also be able to join the meeting via your English Team/Class on Microsoft teams. Join Microsoft Teams Meeting.
You will need to log in with your school password to access these resources. Contact your tutor if you cannot remember your login details – you can find staff email addresses here.
If you would like any of these resources translated from English, we recommend using onlinedoctranslator.com.
