Key Stage 4 Options
This page is designed to help our Year 9 students and their parents make the choice of what GCSEs to study in Years 10 and 11.
We hope you find it helpful but if you have any queries please contact Alex Hall on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Year 9 Parent Consultation and Options Afternoon, Thurs 4th March
In preparation for the next stage of their education and deciding on what GCSE subjects students would like to study, we would like to invite you to a Year 9 Parent Consultation and Options Afternoon on Thursday 4th March 2021 from 12-6pm.
This will be an opportunity to discuss your child's progress and attainment in all subjects, alongside suitability for options courses they are considering. As you are aware this is an extremely important decision which will not only affect your child’s education for the next two years but also beyond that.
Click HERE to see a letter to parents/carers with further information about the meetings.
It is of the utmost importance that you take this opportunity to meet with your son's/daughter’s teachers in order to discuss his or her performance and option choices for next year. It is expected that students will accompany their parents/carers to the meetings as no lessons will be going on for Year 9 students during this time.
Click HERE for a step-by-step guide on how to book and attend your meetings on SchoolCloud.
If you'd like to see a video about how to use the system please click HERE.
We look forward to meeting with on 4th March. Please do not hesitate to contact either of us should you have any queries in the meantime about using SchoolCloud or the options process.
