We all need help / support sometimes. We can all get concerned and anxious and not just about coronavirus. It's perfectly ok not to be ok. If you need someone to talk to, someone to listen, please reach out! There are people who want to help.

Year 10 Virtual Learning Information

On this page you'll find Virtual Learning information for Year 10. Resources are updated weekly and all updates about our virtual learning offer will be found here.

If you have any questions or problems, please contact your tutor. Don’t forget to see weekly updates and rewards in the Peckham Post newsletter.

Student surveys

We are gathering information from Year 10 to support any return to on-site teaching (when it is safe to do so). If you have not already done so, please can you complete these two surveys as soon as possible.

Microsoft teams

Students in Year 10 are currently trialling virtual learning through Microsoft Teams and so will be following a set timetable. The Year 10 timetable consists of two daily lessons (one hour 30 minutes each) which you will be able to join via MS Teams.

For each virtual lesson you need to log on to Microsoft Teams five minutes before the start and join the meeting. For quick guidance on how to join, download a guide to how to join an MS Teams lesson.

Your timetable

In addition to your scheduled lessons, it is advised that you do at least one well-being activity and 30 minutes of reading each day.  Developing your reading ability is a vital part of your education and overall wellbeing. Have you finished the Peckham 50 or HAP Reading Challenge? See our Reading at Home page for details.

We have suggested the daily PE with Joe Wicks at 9am as an excellent way to start your day, if you prefer to try something more advanced try the 6 week challenge!
