Broad knowledge and understanding

Specialist skills and techniques

  • Students acquire practical skills in project planning, designing user interfaces, and manipulating and interpreting data.
  • They learn how to apply these skills effectively in real-world scenarios.

Digital literacy and safety

  • Learners develop digital literacy, which includes the ability to locate, evaluate, and use digital hardware and software.
  • Safety considerations are emphasized, including ergonomic practices (e.g., prolonged use of computing equipment).

Communication

  • The curriculum emphasises effective communication, not only through digital media but also in various contexts.

Ethical and social impact

  • Students explore legal and moral principles related to digital conduct.
