Write a Letter Competition

Last term the Library ran a Write a Letter competition and a Christmas quiz.  The first competition was won by Alex and Sumaiya, both Year 7 and the latter by Jacob Year 8.

On Tuesday 3 February the three winners went to the Review bookstore on Bellenden Road. They have a good selection of young adult books and staff helped the students to make their choices.

Alex was happy with a "Diary of a Wimpy kid", Sumaiya chose a romance novel by Meg Cabot and Jacob a thriller by Michael Grant.

Being able to touch, browse and choose a book and see how reading is celebrated in the store made reading even more interesting to them.
