During the cold, dark months of winter students enjoyed the enrichment activity “knitting”.
The beginning was hard, lost stitches and wobbly rows –but their skills developed quickly.
A scarf was the first project to gain confidence and keep warm in bright colours. Now the knitting club accomplished knitted bags in challenging cables.
To learn how to knit took patience and concentration, it was a great training for motor skills (hands-fingers-eyes) –and above all: it was a lot of fun!
