'Concert for Winter' at Shakespeare's Globe
Our students made a fabulous impression when they took part in the 'Concert for Winter' at Shakespeare's Globe recently.
Concert for Winter is an annual showcase which invites Southwark nurseries, schools and community groups to perform a song or poem on stage in celebration of the past, present and future of the borough.
"It was such a pleasure to have your students performing," said Emma Woodhouse, Learning Projects Coordinator, at the theatre. "Stand By Me was such a brilliant song choice – it was lovely to see the audience all waving along as you sang - we have all been singing it in the office ever since! The children were so well behaved and were all a real credit to their schools."
Congratulations to all our students who sung so wonderfully and represented our school so well.
