Female Lead - Instagram Live with Brenda Berkman

The Female Lead is a campaign to showcase inspirational women from across the world.

Female LeadEach week you can tune in to their Instagram Live feed on Fridays at 6pm as they speak to some of the most extraordinary female leads.

This week (Friday 1 May, 6pm), meet pioneering firefighter Brenda Berkman (pictured), who served the New York City Fire Department for 25 years. She is also a lawyer, and a woman who has dedicated her life to fight an ever prevalent gender stereotype that exists in our society. Her bravery and contribution to women’s rights is epic and her story is one of tenacity and self belief.

Other female leads have included Chessie King, a spreader of all things body positive, and Clare Smyth, the first and only female chef to run a restaurant with three Michelin-stars in the UK. 

Follow them on @the_female_lead as they reveal the full line up and plan your lockdown time to continue to be inspired by an array of amazing women.
