Hard-hitting Drama for Mountview Project
For the third year running, HAP pupils had the opportunity to work with MA students at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts to create three original pieces of theatre which were all performed at Mountview in one of their theatre spaces.
Throughout the six-week project, all the students were amazing and worked very hard to create plays that were hard-hitting and relevant to young people in today’s society.
"I loved working on this project because I got to perform in a real theatre!" said Harry, Year 7. One of the Year 8 students commented: "What I liked about the project was that we all got to share our ideas in a safe place and put our ideas into practice."
Another added: "I don’t usually like to perform in front of people, but doing this project helped me be more confident in myself!"
