Year 8 students attended creative workshops run by Theatre Peckham. As well as developing their literacy and communication skills, students worked on a project which culminated in a play which they wrote and performed to an audience. We thank Peckham for hosting pic.twitter.com/kCUjRWBaBe

Cabinet Office Visits

Over the last 6 weeks a group of our Year 10 students had weekly visits the cabinet office.

Below are some quotes from the students who took part.

Ade - Thank you very much for giving us the experience. It has been really fun and entertaining. It was great talking to the mentors because I learnt a lot about them and how we were able to tell them about what we were struggling with.  It has been fantastic and I would do it again.

Kingsley -Thank you for the amazing experience. I found this very educational and beneficial for me.  I enjoyed it and it was nice. Say that you to my mentor and everyone else.

Sarah - My experience at the Cabinet Office was very rewarding and we appreciate your hand work and effort.  My mentor was very kind and due to her I now have my CV.  You made it so fun and I will never forget this.

Tommy - Thank you it’s been a pleasure meeting you all.  I have taken a lot from this programme. Taking away lots of special memories and experiences.

Tyler - The series of Cabinet Office trips were enlightening looking into the process of government and how simple it can all be.  Special thanks to my mentor and all organisers behind the programme.

Tobi - I would recommend the course because I found it interesting and fun  It helped me become more confident and my mentor helped me learn how to fill out a CV which was very helpful.

Chanelle - I found the 6 weeks course very interesting and engaging.  Thank you for running the course and I would definitely recommend this to the next Year 10’s.

Daniel - I found the whole experience very enjoyable.  Thank you for providing us with an insight into government and I’ve been corrected about my previous thoughts on running a country.  Dragon’s Den was my most enjoyable experience.

Amira -Thank you so much – it was an amazing experience and something I will never forget.
