BBC Ten Pieces Film Premiere

On Monday 28th September our students were invited to attend the premiere of the BBC Ten Pieces Film in the West End.

Our students were extremely privileged to be invited to this prestigious event and had a fantastic time mingling with stars of music and TV. The film itself introduces ten classical music pieces that experts believe all students of a secondary school age should listen to. We were taken on a journey through different styles of music; from Haydn to Bernstein and Bach to turntables. The film was fantastic and students enjoyed listening to the music in different ways. After the showing of the film finished, some of our students were selected to be interviewed by the media and have since featured on BBC Radio 3. We had an excellent experience and are very proud that our Academy has been selected to participate in this project.
