HAP today donated 170 pairs of safety googles (normally used by our Science department) to the NHS to help prevent their staff contracting COVID-19. Lewisham NHS put out a call to local schools who might have spare googles, and we are proud to help https://t.co/shtAhNmNRz

Safeguarding - Who To Call

Dear HAP family,

We understand that this is a worrying time for many of you and our safeguarding team is here to support you. If you have any concerns, then please contact us on safeguarding@harrispeckham.org.uk or on 07793 223572.

Or call Southwark MASH on 0207 5251921 during the day and out of hours 0207 525 5000.

There are helplines listed in your planner on pages 14 & 15 and they are also on the Academy website. Remember talking helps! And we are always here for you. Take care and stay safe!

From the HAP Safeguarding Team

Miss Clifford, Miss Andrew, Ms Veira, Mr Omoniyi, Mrs McCrobie and Miss Barrett

Whilst HAP is closed, it’s very important for you to check in with your mental health and wellbeing, especially during periods where you may be asked to self-isolate.

While the school is closed we will continue to provide guidance and emotional support to young people and their families. We have strong links with lots of external agencies and do not want any family to feel isolated during this difficult time.

Here are details for a range of organisations that support young people with mental wellbeing.
