Supporting Year 6 to Year 7 Transition.

It was a real pleasure to meet with Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park's Year 6 families to discuss the important transition into Year 7. These moments of connection are so valuable — not only for sharing key information, but also for building trust and partnership as we prepare to welcome a new cohort into our school community.

We covered everything from curriculum and pastoral care to enrichment opportunities and settling in support. Parents asked thoughtful questions and shared their hopes for their children’s next steps, and it was clear how committed they are to ensuring a smooth and positive transition.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the conversation. We’re excited to welcome your children into Year 7 and look forward to supporting them as they grow, learn, and thrive.
