Year 11 Ceramic Workshop with Local Artist

Our Year 11 students took part in a dynamic ceramic workshop led by a local artist, building on skills and knowledge developed in their Year 10 studies. Drawing inspiration from artists they researched last year, as well as their own personal experiences, each student designed and created a clay portrait that captured a unique sense of identity and expression. The workshop encouraged students to explore form, texture, and detail while experimenting with sculptural techniques under professional guidance. The resulting portraits reflect a rich combination of technical skill, creativity, and personal storytelling, showcasing both the individuality of each student and the influence of the artists they studied.
